How is the ratio looking for everyone so far? I for one have not been rejected yet, but then again I only applied to nine schools so I'm sure I will be receiving some soon 😉

2 holds, 13 interviews, no rejections.

Going strong so far 🙂

Thankfully not haha. This cycle is going pretty well

Haha who ARE you?? Frazier, that's awesome! I don't know anybody at my undergraduate institution with 4 interview invites already. I'm certainly much closer to you than the superhuman feats of raltima 🙂

wow really nice!
Now you just have to worry about scraping the money together for hotels and travel fees. It's a concern that I wish I had ^^

No rejections (yet), 10 interview invites, 2 interviews completed, already tired of traveling.

Ughh, yea, traveling sucks. Currently in a hotel pre-interview for tomorrow.

Thanks! Yea, its getting expensive....

Im sure you'll get this problem soon enough!

I'm at 6 interviews, 2 holds, and 1 rejection.

I've only been to one interview and I agree, I'm drained 🙂

Haha this thread is making my three interview invites seem pitiful.

Do not fret. These folks are either lying or not indicative of the complete population. I did not have my first interview last year until January, and I did not interview at my dream school until 3/10. I was tripping out this time last year because of folks on these forums that are prone to bragging. By the end of last year, I had been accepted to 3 top 15 schools, and I currently attend my all-time tippy top choice school. As hard as it is, try to relax...

thanks for posting this. I think perspective is a commodity on a site like this, what with all the mind-freaks running around here, seeking self affirmation from their peers. haha. long process, but it'll work out for everyone I'm sure. goodness gracious sharkbait...wow.

1 hold, 1 rejection, 6 interviews. Waiting on 15 more schools.

I have 25 interviews to each of the top 25 med schools. I have a 4.0 cGPA, triple majored, and 2 of my research projects are up for Nobel prizes. 😉 Haha seriously, relax guys, the person I know with the most interviews has 3 right now.

5 interviews, all received starting last Saturday.
1 hold
1 possible rejection, still haven't received the secondary

I didn't think I'd receive interviews till late October considering my late submission.

You guys make it seem so easy. Last year, I received 2 interviews, 1 acceptance, and something like 15 rejections. Thankfully, the acceptance was at my top choice school. Anyway, good luck, doesn't seem like most people here will be needing much of it. 🙂

I got three quick interviews within two weeks of completion, and then nothing since then. I guess it's good that I don't have any rejections yet, but I'm anxiously waiting for more news! In the meantime, I'll be prepping for my first interview in a few days.

One interview, one rejection, 16 pending oh noes

4 invites, 1 complete, no rejections, waiting on like 17 schools still.

There's reality and then there is SDN. Be patient, you'll be fine.

11 interview invites, 2 declined, been on 7....(utterly exhausted). I have 2 more to go. Waiting on 5 schools ( UCSF,Harvard, Columbia, Stanford and UPenn). All my interviews have been very similar so I either will be rejected from all the schools I have interviewed at or accepted.

Whoever said interviews were fun and exciting is full of ****.
-It is exhausting, expensive and can be very stressful.

God have mercy on those interviewing at more than 10 schools.

Applied to 1 school. Received 1 interview. Got one acceptance. Shaping up to be a good season. 😎

9 interviews (6 already done), 1 rejection, waiting on remaining 6.

No holds
One rejection
Nine interviews (All in the top 125, all schools I would love to attend!)

Very blessed this year! 😀

If any of you are tired from traveling for interviews, please tell the admissions office to redirect your invite to jkm07. 🙂

I can assure you that I am not lying - my ego doesn't need a boost from SDN....

Biggest. ****-measuring. competition. ever.

Biggest. ****-measuring. competition. ever.

That may be the case for some of the posts on here, but it is not the reason I started the thread (obviously, seeing as how my app status equates to toting a roll of dimes).

Wow haven't started yet but looks like a bleak future. Really that stressful? Darn.

8 II
4 rejections

The interviews themselves are not stressful (at least not in my case). However, the travel expenses, missing classes, and hoping airlines do not misplace your bags (or hoping you get them back when they do) can wear on you. I am sure it'll be wonderful for you!

Funny logic to be coming from an evidently well-qualified applicant...

I found my first two interviews to be very exciting. First one was a bit stressful, but the second was pure fun! And yes, they are expensive but w/e.

The opportunity to see some amazing schools is great. But I am funding the expenses all by myself and missing classes kind of gets me down. My interviews themselves are pretty relaxing and converstational. But I still wonder about things I said and ways I came across.

Complete at 30 schools for about 3 weeks. 4 II's, 2 rejections. Only actually been to one of the interviews so far tho. So ya...

Cool stories, bros. I got two IIs and 45 rejections.

Did you copy your name from azfuturedoc?

^HAHA no, but I like his better

HAHAHAHA. Too funny. I don't even know where I came up with my name. I think it was just random. I don't think I copied it from anyone cuz I made an account here before I even started lurking. But ya, it's a funny coincidence for sure.

Been to 4 interviews, have 2 more interviews to go to in the future, 3 Rejections, and 1 hold. Still have about 7 or 8 schools left.
