Hey Guys I just got my first interview at UT Southwestern but am concerned because most of the days are already taken. Is January a bad time to interview?

Doesn't matter when you interview but there may be more conflicts come January. It tends to be a busier month than earlier on. Conflicts are the nature of the beast in Ortho interviews due to small number of interview dates, and I cancelled 6-7 last year for this very reason. Be especially wary of the first wekend dates in December and January. These are very popular.

A lot of programs publish their interview dates on their websites. You could probably take a peak at the programs you really want to go to so you don't have conflicts at some of your top spots.
