Received my first II yesterday from my top choice. However, I went to schedule an interview date and the closest time slot is only in late November. I feel like this is a rather late date considering I submitted the primary early june, was verified early july, and secondaries completed early august.

Is it normal for interviews to be so much later in the application cycle? Is there anything else I can do to move up my interview date?

I think some schools, like USC, already are into November for interview invites, so it is normal for some school's to be inviting for interviews at that point in the app cycle

If you live close to the school and could travel there quickly on short notice, you might ask the admissions office if they have a list for last-minute interview substitutes they can put you on.
