I would say yes only because I believe decisions are made right after the interview.... unless the school plans to only select a certain number of students from each interview date, in order to give every interviewee a fair shot regardless of interview date
That is way too late. I say make a plan to apply next cycle in June. Give yourself enough time to prepare for the DAT and retake time ( hopefully not). In the mean time, do some more volunteering and/or dental relate things.

Just depend. If you are interviewing early and you are an average applicant, you are competing against the superstar on that interview day. If you're an average applicant, and interviewing later on, you are more so competing with other average applicants, but there will be less available spots. If you are a superstar it doesnt matter when you interview.
