I finalized my AMCAS very early (June). I also finished my secondaries quite a while ago. I have gotten interviews, but the invites have stopped coming in. I am a typical greedy pre-med, so I want more. 😀

Do some schools just wait to send them out, or should I just count on not receiving others?

I am in a similar boat although I have not had any invites so far. I don't know what they have been doing with my file. It has been there complete since mid-August.

Contact the schools you are still waiting to hear from and just ask them to verify that your apps are complete...they might be able to tell you something more.

I know some schools will do one wave of interviews, review those applicants (accept or decline), and then select another group to interview! and so on...so i wouldn't assume it's over!

I am in this boat...don't get me wrong...I've been absolutely blessed to have gotten some of the interviews I've gotten...but its just SOO weird and unsettling to be getting an interview from a top school...and then not hearing anything from lower ranked schools.

And so goes the waiting game...

My last interview invite was about a month ago (I got 4 invites out of 12 schools so far). I applied early also. The only thing that keeps me hopeful is remembering that without sdn I would be expecting this process to take much longer, but on here you see how many interviews people have who represents such a small portion of all the applicants.

I'm just curious: how many invites have you had total so far? i've only had 2 out of 13 so far, and i've been done for about 4 months now. my earliest secondary (which i haven't heard back about yet) has been done about 3 months. no rejects yet, but no interviews either. a family friend (or rather, my parents like to compare me to him constantly, and it's driving me crazy) has a reported, 8 interview so far. how many of you are fortunate enough to be in his place?

Another day goes by without any interviews. 🙁

I'm in a dry spell as well. Couldn't complain, I guess, with the interviews I've gotten so far. Everbody, keep your chin up! 🙂

Yeah I've only gotten one interview invite. And strangely it came from a school I didn't originally put on my list because I thought they would screen me out. Meanwhile I've heard nothing from most of the other schools I've applied to. I'm probably going to send update letters to them all telling them what I've been up to since I sent in their secondaries in July/August.

I've got 5 interviews, and one rejection, and about a friggin' million other schools that I've been complete for about two months but have not gotten back to me (either way). UCLA hasn't even sent me a rejection or a secondary and my AMCAS was sent in July...so, don't worry too much about it yet! 😛
