Hey everyone!
Just got an interview offer at NYCOM. I think Nov is the first month they're interviewing, so can that work in my favor?
Also, do they interview just abotut all of their applicants? what are my chances considering I do have an interview?

I know most of these questions have been answered so many times for other schools. But please dont ignore this, I would really be grateful for all of your help!! 🙂

Congrats! It is a plus that you interview earlier in the cycle. Also they do not interview all of their applicants.

Congratulations!!! I have an interview there too. They offered me 11/15 or 11/30 and I took 11/30. When is your interview? I think that they did just start interviewing. Are you instate? They have some preference for in-state students. USNews.com has the total acceptance rate as 16.4%, but I don't know the percentage if you are interviewed. They have one of the larger classes. I think it is like 260 students or something. Anyway, sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Good luck with your interview!

Well, if you know that why don't you use the search function and look up the answers? They've been answered for this school too.

No problem. Always try to help. Wasn't aware of the "leave the ego's before logging in" rule. I'll make an effort to do that, even though I don't see how my response can in any fashion be construed as "egotistical." Similarly, may I humbly suggest that you not lose your initiative after signing on. Not much that you can't learn about any school by investing some quality time using the "Search" function.

being in the early group gives you an edge on getting accepted. People do get rejected/waitlisted early in the season so do well on the interview. Even though you are in the early interview group I'd look at interview feedback from the last application cycle

they interview a lot of applicants because they have 250+ seats to fill. People do get rejected/waitlisted so I can not comment on your chances.

Good luck. This question was asked many times before but some of the answers previous to to the class of 2010 cycle did not match to what I experienced. NYCOM has an Open House in November. it's just FYI since I can't comment on how helpful that may be to you.
