From previous threads it sounds like some members have already gotten interviews. Congrats! Shall we start an interview thread? Post the name of the school, when you heard, date of the interview, and anything else.

Cool. Maybe we'll see each other that day. Still need to hear if I make it into the Monday schedule since I just responded, but I imagine I will.

Congrats to all of you! Incidentally, when did Iowa start interviewing OOS? I was accepted last year without an interview.

Must have restarted interviews this application cycle (I think I remember seeing that on their website last year). I was also accepted last year without an interview.

Yeah, ISU started interviewing this cycle. Lucky us! Good excuse to go check it out though.

I'm hoping that I'll get an interview somewhere. My grades aren't the greatest, but my letters and statement are awesome, and I feel as though I would do very well in an interview. *fingers crossed*

They're interviewing reapps and OOS applicants first, if that helps.
 
Has anyone heard anything from Michigan State University yet? I heard they were not doing interviews until December.
 
Nothing yet from MSU here. I don't expect to hear anything until after Thanksgiving.

Thanks so much! i'm sure you'll here soon...try not to worry :) They're probably sending out the invites in chunks. this is my second year applying, so I know how hard the waiting is!

RubyJoe...I just noticed this...your interview is on a Saturday?? That's nice for students, I just couldn't imagine schools would do that. Interesting.

Congrats Rexosaurus! If you don't mind sharing - When did your application go to "File Review" status? I also applied to MSU and am curious how long the file review process generally takes.

honestly i don't know when it went to "file review". i try not to check all the time, i have enough anxiety as it is! the last time i checked the status page was probably a few weeks :oops: once i know they have all my stuff i pretty much write it off!
 
rexosaurus...where did you see file review on the tracking page? and if you don't mind me asking, when did you get your application into MSU...I know they do rolling admissions. Just curious, I applied to MSU as well.
