Hi everyone, for people who already experienced what an interview is like for optometry schools, would you feel the interviewers would consider acceptance if they see that your grades have improved one semester after another or do they think one sided and say that "this student's grades were terrible from the start and even if he improved academically the poor grades he earned previously are unacceptable".
Well reason why I asked is that right out of high school my undergrad grades weren't great and were pretty low, but I am taking the time now to repeat those courses to get a higher grade. So would anyone think that the interviewers will consider acceptance if they see that my grades have only improved semester after semester? I am actually a long way from even applying for optometry school but I wanted to plan ahead and see if what I am doing now going to help at all with increasing my chances of acceptance.
