I know this may be an odd question, but I was considering being a RA at my school and I wanted to know when are the interviews for dental school usually offered? Is it in the summer, or during the academic school year? I ask because obviosly I can't take off in my duty as a RA for interviews every other weekend.

Also, if I apply early, such as having my application done by early July will that give me an advantage of having early interviews?

i called AADSAS a week ago and they said they haven't sent out any applications yet - even the ones that are verified. ive heard chatter that the first batch will be sent out 2nd week of july. If you finish your apps in July, it may still be "early," but it may not be sent out with the first batch because it still takes about 3-4 weeks for yor transcripts to be verified. As far as I know, schools start sending out interview invites starting either late July or early August.

Interviews are most definitely during the academic school year. Most schools start interviewing in September and end in spring. I have been out of school for some time so I might be misremembering, but aren't RA's sophomores. Doesn;t sound too fun as an upperclassman.

Interviews are sent out and offered in the fall all the way to the spring of the same concurrent cycle.
