For those of you that applied to multiple schools around the country, how did you get to all your interviews. Did you fly, drive, etc? Do they let you know about your interview far in advance with enough time to make plans?

For those of you that applied to multiple schools around the country, how did you get to all your interviews. Did you fly, drive, etc? Do they let you know about your interview far in advance with enough time to make plans?

Drove to those in-state, and had to fly to all the others. And sometimes they let you know enough in advance (couple months), but then again you may get a call about going to an interview across the country next week (if for example someone w/ an earlier interview cancels). Just buy your plane tix as soon as you find out to get the cheapest price.

Flew to all of my interviews except my Marquette interview, which was a lovely 15 minute ride to the school. They will usually give you at least 2 weeks at the absolute earliest. Some of mine were months ahead of time.
