hello,
im a lebanese student and ill take premed courses in fairleigh dickinson university, which is an american university. i want to know if i have any chance getting to us medical school after i finish my premed, and if i can get any financial aid..if some1 has information, please tell me..

I'm not sure about the financial aid part of things, but you can get into medical school here as long as you've got the total package - the requirements are the same for everyone. You need to do well in your pre-medical courses and other upper level sciences, do well on the MCAT (I'm thinking that English is your second language, so it would be imperative for you to do well on the Verbal section of the exam, as well as in the other sections of the test), and have extracurricular activities that support your interests in medicine (e.g., volunteering at a hospital, clinical exposures, etc.).

Best of luck to you. 🙂

Majority of schools ask international students to open up an escrow account that is about $200,000 before fully being admitted. This is true even in most of top 10 schools who have money. There are schools that provide financial aid to international students (Columbia, Harvard, and Yale). These are the ones I have read somewhere that they do, but you shouldn't count on it. It would be best to contact schools that you are interested in to get this info.

Good luck!
