intracellular/extracellular buffer

I thought the main extracellular buffer was bicarbonate and the main intracellular buffer is phosphate, but the 2009 dat said the main intracellular buffer is bicarbonate. Is this correct? I feel like I saw this in destroyer or bc

You likely got that from bootcamp. There is question asking about extracellular buffer (bicarbonate). To my knowledge that is correct. I haven't taken the 2009 DAT yet.

It is well known that the 2009 DAT is riddled with errors, but i'm not sure if that was this specific question.
