Expert advice=medical opinion, whether you say it is or not. So what I have to say isn't "expert advice." And this isn't the place to look for that either. I suggest your wife consult an ophthalmologist in person for that.
I guess my question back to you is whether someone attending your wife is recommending an enhancement procedure or not. You didn't say.
This question really cannot be answered here with any expectation that it would be of value to either you or your wife. We don't know why there is astigmatism now when you suggest that possibly it wasn't present initially following the surgery, assuming "great results" means no significant astigmatism. Many things can cause development of late astigmatism post-LASIK, some are correctable with a second treatment, others, not at all.
Sorting one from the others requires nothing less than a complete eye examination with refraction, review of records of the first surgery, and probably an analysis of the cornea by a Pentacam or similar technology .
"Success" rates depend on candidacy, which depends on where the astigmatic change is occurring, whether it is stable, the thickness of the remaining cornea, the presence of any other eye disease and so on.
