I was just wondering say you have these 2 molecules...(A and B)

Would molecule A have a lower boiling point due to it "using up" its hydrogen bonding intramolecularly and therefore leading to less H-bonding intermolecularly? Is that a thing?

Great question.....as a general rule of thumb, INTRAMOLECULAR hydrogen bonding is weaker than intermolecular hydrogen bonding. Thus Compound A would have a lower boiling point than B and therefore would be more volatile due to less intermolecular attractions.

It should also be the more acidic proton because the conjugate base would be stronger due to that intermolecular hydrogen boding as well
