I have a meeting with one of the radonc faculty members at my school tomorrow. I am a new MS3 who is looking to introduce myself and am hoping to get involved in some research projects. I expect it will be pretty low-key but I am wondering if there is some good stuff that I can read up on to be better prepared for any questions he might have for me tomorrow. I have read radiation oncology: a primer for medical students. Is there a radonc wiki page or any other good websites I can check out tonight? Anything that helps me not look like a bonehead would be much appreciated.

Also, are there any texts that you recommend a medical student get for radonc?

There is the rad onc FAQ in this forum http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/faq-updated-2-20-13.674353/ . Other than that I am not sure if you asking for references that discuss what radiation oncologists do in general or looking for references for treatment management decisions. If this is the first time you are meeting someone in radiation oncology, I would simply make sure you have a basic understanding of what the field is and have an answer if you are asked why you are interested in rad onc.
