hey so I took an astronomy class ("PHYS 010") and concept of physics course (PHYS 009) a long time ago. It's considered lower division, but since they both fall under physics department, do they actually count towards my science gpa?

I looked around the forum and it seems like it's too good to be true

Astronomy definitely counts as a physics. I also was super happy about this because I took astronomy in order to satisfy my GE science before I switched to pre-med, and got to add another A to my sGPA.

Conceptual physics seems like it should count. You can try to contact AMCAS and double check. This is the class that people use to prep for General Physics I usually, right?
