For those students who already attend MWU-CCP what exactly is Introductory Practice Experience? Is it a sort of internship? Does it involvore working at a community pharmacy or hospital? Any and all information is appreciated......thanks.

What IPE is is a introductory rotation. Basically your first quarter you go to a community pharmacy (picked for you) about 1 time per week for 4 hours and fill out a workbook and generally help if you can. Then your 2nd or 3rd quarter you go to a hospital pharmacy and do the same. Basically, it's a way to introduce people to different types of pharmacy (esp if they have never worked before). In your 3rd year, you go to a clinical pharmacist and, in a sense, shadow them for IPE 3. Hope this helps (and in case you were thinking, you do not get paid for it )

...PS....you can always PM me if youhave any questions about ccp, I am graduating there AGO in 2 months 🙂
