I'm working on the High Yield probs for physics in the Kaplan books and a few of the problems involves you doing inverse trig to find theta. Is it actually needed on the MCAT to find theta this way and if so, what is the best and most efficient way of finding theta?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thankzzz

The MCAT will only assume that you know sin and cos of the common angles (30, 45, 60, 90, etc.). Even then I think some passages might give you those values. All other trig functions can be derived from them, and I doubt you'll have to do inverse trig for anything other than common angles (or values close to them).
