Invited for an interview but....

I had an application on hold pending a better DAT score (17), yet I was offered an interview to an in-state school. I have an interview in early Nov and I cannot take my DAT until after Thanksgiving. Why would an ADCOM do this?

Who cares, it sounds like a good deal to me. Just kill the DAT when you retake because offering an interview makes it sound like they are very interested in you

They are interested and most likely anticipate a better DAT score on the re-take. Study up and rock that DAT!!!
