Iowa/Mizzou interview notification question

Does anybody know if Iowa and Mizzou send you a rejection e-mail? I haven't heard from either one and apart from tearing my hair out and checking my e-mail a thousand time a day I don't know what to do! And those stupid holidays are in the way with offices being closed and all! OK, my grinch rant is over, any help would be much appreciated

for Mizzou: "Leftover" OOS interview invites are via email (this week). OOS rejections by snail mail (second week of Jan.). Don't know about instate folks' status.

This is what a buddy of mine (who's applying OOS to Mizzou) says. He emailed the admissions office and this was their response.
