Iowa/Mizzou interview notification question

Does anybody know if Iowa and Mizzou send you a rejection e-mail? I haven't heard from either one and apart from tearing my hair out and checking my e-mail a thousand time a day I don't know what to do! And those stupid holidays are in the way with offices being closed and all! OK, my grinch rant is over, any help would be much appreciated🙂

for Mizzou: "Leftover" OOS interview invites are via email (this week). OOS rejections by snail mail (second week of Jan.). Don't know about instate folks' status.

This is what a buddy of mine (who's applying OOS to Mizzou) says. He emailed the admissions office and this was their response.
