considerably cheaper at Iowa, even if your oos. means more cash flow for you to do what you want after D school is finished. Doesn't hurt that you don't have to worry about getting shanked while walking home in Iowa city vs. Cleveland. overall I would pick Iowa.
I interviewed at Iowa and the student tour guide said to go elsewhere, he was an oos student and said he was going to do an internship next year because he didn't feel prepared enough to enter the field after graduating, also I don't know if lab work is important in your decision, but the students said it is grueling...Case Western seems like a school that will well prepare you, but I don't know much about them. Hope this helps.
