Kindle is also kind of a pain... Not easy to do a quick search. Much easier to pull the orange book out of my white coat and flip to a page, or even the index then the corresponding page.
Android browsers don't work w/ Expert Consult terribly well either. So, that option sucks as well.
Stick'n w/ good old trusty the orange tattered, biopsy ink pen ink laden pocket book! I had a biopsy pen uncap in my pocket last week. Good times all around! Torn and now inked up. That coat has gotta go! 🙂
Shameless bump.
I know this is an old thread, but 2 years later, 6 weeks from my third year, and I can officially say that I am 100% book free. The transition was painful, including learning how to study using electronic format books, but it was worth it. My next step is transitioning from laptop to the nexus 10. I'll update you all how I take all 15,000 pages of references with me wherever I go, and answer most questions I have within about 5 seconds.
