ipad/laptop resources?

I have some educational funds to use and I was hoping to get some recommendations for either ipads or laptops.

I'm sure there's some good stuff around and I am in several offices so I can't lug my texts around with me.

Any texts, journals, apps? I also do suboxone, so that would be another area in which I'd appreciate any suggestions.
