Has anyone gotten their alarm to function again? Mine still isn't working, and to make matters worse, my back up alarm on my CD player/clock radio has an indifferent work ethic; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I thought this was supposed to be resolved today.

Try deleting all of your old alarms, then set a new one. According to what I've read in the blogosphere, this should fix it.

It must have self-corrected. The dreaded "marimba" went off this morning.

I set my alarm every day since I don't always get up at the same time.

My Palm Pre wakes me up either with "Reveille" or a rooster crowing. Not subtle. 😉

It's nostalgia. I had an alarm app on my Apple Newton called "Roosta" that used to crow like that.
