how come in iron deficiency anemia, there is a normal/high RBC count combined with a low reticulocyte count ?
the combination of the two doesn't make sense since RBCs actually develop from reticulocytes !

TURNS OUT THAT RBC COUNT CAN ACTUALLY BE HIGH IN IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA BUT ONLY IN CHILDREN !!
