I do not have this problem before. I have a full time job so I don't get tons of hours to study. Usually after work, I fall asleep if I tried to study right away. When I do finally outwake it and get into study mode and go to bed around 2am, by then I usually can't go to sleep till around 4 or 5am still having a bunch of studying crap and can't slow the mind down. So I usually get about 3 hours of sleep then have to get to work at 8. Then circadian rhythm kicks in at work around 3pm...which blows. I hope this problem goes away on the test day. It'll suck if it wakes all night and go to sleep couple hours right before the exam. I don't know if anyone relate to this or not...if so what did you do to fix it?

I've only been having problems getting to sleep which was never a problem the past.

I know what you mean. I'm able to go to sleep in less than 3 min in the past...all this anxiety must be the culprit.

Search the forums. I believe the general consensus was melatonin provided the best result.

I am in the same boat as you. I work full time and study at night. I hit the bed around 3-4a, depending on what i am studying. It works for some, but not others- i am use to it since I am also taking some classes and am use to the late nights now. I get into that same mood around 3pm as you, and if it were not for the RED BULL gods, I would be passed out...

I feel you. Doing my studying from about 9 or 10 til 2 or 3 am, then up at 7 or 8 for a nice full day of work. I feel like I am slowly dying.

Not to mention I don't feel normal until my second energy beverage of the day has been consumed. I feel like this guy ---> :scared:

Thanks all for the tips. I tried Tequila last night and it seems to work...but a little hard on waking up. Too bad I can't get other mixed drink at home. I hope I don't get "beer belly" after this.

lifeisgood: what is your 2nd bev?

mightymouse23: RED BULLS? lol did ya have wings?

RockstarDMD: Is melatonin over the counter? Not sure on brainy drug and consequence, cuz I'll need it for about a month.

shainapunum: Tylenol doesn't do anything for me. Singing cause it to be active and will cause it to stay up all night wondering and thinking about reactions and stuff...

Tylenol PM or else try singing a relaxing slow song in your head.

I had trouble sleeping for a couple of days. "Tylenol Extra Strength" worked for me & helped me sleep 🙂

No wings here.. lol.. besides if i had any they still wouldnt be able to lift my fat ass up... LOL

i drink the sugarfree rockstar for the first drink and then a ressurect for the second...seems to be the right combo to get me going.

What is your 2nd bev to counter Rockstar?

I think I see how you are using it... Rockstar to keeps you awake and something antagonistic in 2nd drink to force it to go to sleep.

I just tried Rockstar, it's tasty and pretty damn strong.
