Hi,
I heard somone mention Irvine has a one month turn around time on secondaries; however, i cant find where it says that; is this true? Do any other UC or california schools have the same policy? I work full time so having trouble finishing everything that have artificial non-deadline deadlines....

It says it somewhere, but it's not solid. But still, ASAP.

I remember reading in their email or somewhere that secondaries have to be sent in within a month but if u call and ask for an extension they will give it to you. just so they know that ur not ignoring their school but just have many things on ur plate

I think all UCs have some kind of deadline, like UCLA gave us 6 weeks, UCI was one month (I remember it exactly)....Call UCI they are super nice and give extensions easily. :luck:

The one month deadline was stated in their email that requested you to fill out the secondary. It says: "Completed secondary applications must be mailed. They will not be accepted if they are sent as e-mails. You need to complete, print, and return it within one month of receipt to the Office of Admissions and Outreach"

They aren't too strict on this though because I was able to turn my in about 5 days late without asking for an extension. I would suggest emailing them ahead of time though if you are sure you will be late.

good luck!
