Hey all, researching a job that requires 20 pt units per day, an intake is 2 ptu and f/up is 1 ptu. Is that too much? should I negotiate seeing less pts or is this doable doing inpt and outpt...my inpt load will be about 10 pts per day and then I will be seeing mostly suboxone pts in the afternoon and some general psych outpts. There is ALOT of support in terms of social work etc so I do not have to do any of this stuff. Thoughts?

would appreciate your opinions

Thanks

Well I assume one unit is 30 minutes?

It is a hell of a lot to work but before I'd say it's too much what's your personal threshold and how much are they paying you?

10 hours a day don't sound so bad if they're paying you mad money.

I see on average 20 patients every day 5 days a week. I have 40 minutes for an intake and 20 minutes for follow up. I don't feel that I work too much. I start at 8 a.m. and leave at 5 p.m. sharp.

Find out how much time will be spent looking for the charts.
