I'm applying for fall 2010, and my friend gave me her MSAR for 2008-2009. Does anyone know if there's a big difference from year to year? I'd rather not shell out the money for the newest book, but I am using it heavily to decide my school list, so I wanted to make sure nothing dramatically different happened in the span of on year.

Opinions? Is getting the most current numbers worth the money?

'sides, if u need to check out stats to a specific school or two, go to your pre-med advisor.. use your resources 🙂

i have the 2009-2010 version and I can tell you for a fact that the numbers havent really change. they have added the 5 or so new medical schools, but dont have mcat and gpa for most of them.

Yeah, that one will be fine. I would check the schools' websites for new statistics and changing course requirements though.

as someone who owns the 2009-2010 one id say no just keep the old one... the stats are about the same.
