i know i know.. stop worrying too much right? 🙁 but was just wondering.. if 3rd batch is late and will not be receiving interviews pre-dec

Don't worry about whether you are in 1st 2nd or 3rd batch. People have a misconception that as long as you get into 1st batch will increase their chance of getting an interview. Remember that they will only get reviewed when your application is COMPLETE!!! And I know that people are assuming that people will get a priority even though their application is not complete...

Let's just say that you have a complete application and was sent out on 3rd batch and there is an applicant whose incomplete application is sent out on 1st batch. Then a person with the complete application will get reviewed first.

Some schools aren't even done with the previous cycle! They won't start on the new ones until August, and then they'll probably start reviewing all the completed apps at that time as one big batch.

Many accepted applicants might have been offered several other places elsewhere. The moment they let go the offer, the seats are freed up and your chances of getting in would increase accordingly too.

I would say neither early nor late. AADSAS started getting overloaded and slow after the 2nd batch so either they got a huge wave of applicants at that time or they lowered their staff after the initial wave for the first and second batches. So you probably hit the large group and are in about the same place as everybody else. I don't know if that's good or bad for you but I definitely wouldn't consider that late.

This ^^^ Some people are still getting off waitlists for 2010. The first 3-5 batches will most likely get lumped together.

Yep, 7/16 is 3rd batch. But, it seems that AADSAS is electronically sending completed apps earlier than this. I've just received an email from Louisville stating that they have received my app and have requested the app fee, and I'm in the 3rd batch for 7/16.
