Hello everyone, I already have a DO who is willing to write me a LOR once I shadow her some more this summer, but I just got another reply from a DO who is willing to let me shadow them/ write me a letter also. Is it helpful to have more then 1 letter from a DO, or does it not really matter? I only ask since I am already stretched for time this summer with volunteering, continuing to shadow the DO I have already shadowed in the past, and MCAT studying. If it helps they would both be letters from family medicine physicians. Thanks everyone.

I didn't even have 1 DO letter and I was fine. 1 letter is enough for sure, concentrate on your other EC's

You should definitely use at least one. And I think you only need one, especially since you'll likely have a couple other letters to submit.

I'd say, use the letter from the DO that you feel will give you the stronger, more personalized letter.

You can always save that second letter to send latter in the game, like if you haven't heard from a favorite school of yours or if you get wait listed.

You only need 1, but get both from them, and save them in Interfolio. Submit one with your app, and save one for later in the cycle. It'll be handy as an update. I'm actually thinking about getting an extra LOR to send to schools I'm waitlisted at right now.
