Hey why not? In my opinion, degrees can ONLY benefit you. I personally feel that there is a stronger connection developing over the years between pharmacy and public health so it would be great to have that Masters. Pharmacy, in general, has already taking actions and policies of public health and I think it is going to keep being shaped by it. As a matter of fact, the pharmacy school I am starting in August trains pharmacists specifically in public health and their graduated pharmacists work in all the fields of pharmacy. I feel that more programs like this will arise and, therefore, will give you more knowledge by obtaining the degree. There are lots of things pharmacists can do to participate in the spread and support of public health policy whether it is in hospital, research, retail, etc. So, in my opinion, go for it! 🙂
