I'm hoping I can get some insight from this community about my chances of success after a post bacc program and whether it's worth the price. My life has taken some unexpected turns (as I'm sure many people can relate to) after I was sent home from the Peace Corps due to COVID. Now I'm trying to get the ball rolling on something I thought I had another year and a half to plan out.
My post bacc track would be as an academic enhancer. I have 93 units of BCPM coursework with a 3.01 GPA, 36 units non-science with a 3.67 GPA. Based on my calculations, a post-bacc would bring my BCPM GPA to a 3.23 (if I got a 4.0 in 27 units of coursework).
I am aware that all allopathic and DO schools weigh GPA's differently in terms of whether they focus on most recent coursework, cumulative, etc. Any personal experiences, advice, comments, and criticism are appreciated
