is a summer course withdrawl better than withdrawing a regular term course?

there was this course i took over the summer, but dropped it literally 1 week after the course started because i didn't feel like doing that during my summer.

However, it showed on my transcript that I have withdrawn form that course? I honestly thought it wouldn't even show up on my transcript because i dropped it so early

Anyways, would withdrawing a summer course look better than a regular term drop?

It sounds as if you chose to withdraw from the course after the add/drop deadline ended for the summer term at your school, and for that reason, the Withdrawal (W) notation appeared on your transcript. That's all.

Assuming there is no questionable pattern of repetitive W's on your academic transcript, the W is GPA-neutral anyway.

I have this one W, but also this semester i had one course that is incomplete. i was super sick and my prof arranged that i take a special make up exam in a couple of months. but for now the course will show up as incomplete but by the time i take the test a grade would be listed in place of the incomplete.

The rest of my grades are 4.0s.

freshman year i took a full year course load (15 credits), got 3.9

summer of freshman year i have this stupid Withdrawn

sophomore year i took a full course load (15 credits), got 4.0


junior year i took 12 credits, and got 4.0 except one incomplete (Which i will get a grade for it soon tho)

How bad will is my position GPA wise : (
be 100% brutally honest

Should i use up space on my primaries to explain this?

I have 1 W and 1 Incomplete (similar to a W i guess) so that's what got me worried
