Does anyone school uses AB grading system? Is this grade is equavalent to B+ (85-90%) I was just filling out application to University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center--Dallas. And they say that if you got a B+, you should put a B and if your school uses AB system you should put an A. I am going to write them that it is not fair, but I am not sure what an AB means. I think that B is an AB in AMCAs application but some schools may calculate it differently.

here's what I know, an AB is different than a B+. A B+ is like 3.3 grad points or so, and an A- is around a 3.69. A AB is a 3.5. A B is 3.0 credits

in amcas,
A = 4.0
A- = 3.7
AB = 3.5
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0

so you have a B+, just put AB

This is a non-AMCAS school. They have their own application. I have to choose either A, B, C, D, or F
