I take my DATS two weeks from now😱.... I have used Kaplan, MCAT Bio/Org/GChem books, Cliffs, and destroyer. I have almost gotten through most of destroyer only 50 ques left (finally!!! its taken forever)....and wanted to know if it is worth it to get Achiever. I haven't practiced at all for the PAT ...so I am def ordering CrackPAT. Should I order Achiever as well? I still have 3 full - lengths exams from Kaplan I haven't taken...is Achiever better than Kaplan? Thankx guys 🙂

I ordered Achiever 2 weeks before my test. I did not buy Destroyer though but the main reason I bought Achiever was for time management so its really up to you...spend or save $50. Also Achiever's PAT prepares you better than Kaplan which is way too simple. If you feel like your PAT is strong, just do the 3 full lengths from Kaplan and save $.

I took 2 Achiever tests and all 3 topscore tests during the 10days or so before I took the DAT and thought it helped a lot with building stamina and finding weakspots. If $50 isn't that much to you and you have time to take multiple tests it might be worthwhile.

It would be worthwhile for you to use Achiever. You don't have to take the full test. You can just take the science section.

Thats what I do on Kaplans tests, well I do there PAT just for fun. I have crack dat PAT so I take those. But the focus on the sci makes me a little more worried for the math. But Ill review that this weekend. Hopefully reading comp will go just fine without to much practice

I'm in the same situation with 2 weeks to go and still have to go through Cliff's or Schaum's, Topscore, and Achiever.

I'd like to know...What is the real value in doing Achiever? Are the type of questions and level of difficulty similar or is it just helpful in terms of the timing aspect?

Thanks.

Achiever is much more difficult, but it helps you figure out what you already know and what you need to work on.
