Is an August 15th MCAT LATE for this cycle?

I'm planning on submitting my application late June. I know that this is not an ideal case, but my mcat is in July 20th and I think I will perform much better if I rescheduled it for August 15th. Is this too late if I apply this cycle??? I'm planning on pre-writing my secondaries after my mcat. I do have a pretty competitive gpa. Any thoughts would be highly appreciated, I'm shooting for 520+ on my MCAT

For DO not at all. MD it is too late though.

Good for DO, late for MD, don’t worry about taking an extra year to apply, apply when you are 100% ready and apply on time (early). If you get a 520+ and don’t have any major red flags you will get into a great school
