I was just wondering whether or not an online Masters program at a well known university is looked down upon for medical schools. I would like to pursue one because I will be working in my gap year. I was just wondering if it was a good idea or not. Thanks!

Even regular Master's degrees have little effect on MD applications.
These degrees should only be taken for reasons independent of getting into medical school.
