Currently I am enrolled in a Master's Clinical and Counseling Psychology program, and have become interested in the field of ecopsychology. From what I have read it appears that U of OK is the only program in The States with faculty who have expressed interest in the field. Perhaps you have experience with the University? Do you have any knowledge of funding opportunities, quality of instruction, competitive enrollment, etc. Thank you in advance

It may not be a huge help, but the lady I had for general psyc some years ago had a PhD in counseling from OU. She certainly knew her material and had a successfull practice outside of her teaching position.

I had a prof. in undergrad from OU; not that good of a teacher in the classroom, but just brilliant in the practice and in 1:1 sessions. From what I have heard and seen (I have also looked into OU PhD), they have great numbers as far as internship goes, which speaks to the classroom capabilities of the faculty, as well as the mentorship aspect.

OU has tons of great programs in general, the Psych dept. is another one of them. I have a few friends at OU (none of them in Psych.) but from what they have heard it's a great school. Do it. Go to OU, be a Sooner.
