Is applying mid-June considered 'applying early?'

I feel like I have the biology stuff down. GChem and orgo I feel like I will do good on. The math part I am probably struggling with. And I haven't really began studying for the PAT section. I'm going to spend a full week on just writing my personal statement. Then I'm going to take my DAT during the third week of June probably. Should I apply as soon as the application is out...before taking my DAT? Also...if I wait to take my DAT first, and if I apply to dental schools mid-June, will that be considered 'applying early?"
