I will try to keep this brief; I'm sure you are all very tired from finals

I took organic chem in fall of 2011, a lot of stuff happened in my life, and I got a B in it.

I now have to take organic 2 of course, to complete the sequence (yes, all this time later), but I have forgotten much of organic 1.

Should I audit orgo 1 this summer and take orgo 2 in the second half?

Or.. just self study and take it in the second half?

I really don't want to re-take it for a grade, because if I got a B or worse... it would be terrible.

What say thee?

It won't be worth your time or money. Usually orgo 2 will give you a little review from orgo 1 in the beginning. There isn't much you have to remember from orgo 1 to do well in orgo 2. Just review by yourself if you want to (not even necessary). Review your notes and tests. If you got a B in orgo 1, I think a little refresher will help you build the foundation for orgo 2.
