I am reapplying this year, so I want my application to look different than last year. After I received my denial letter in feb, I've been studying for DAT and retook it on june 30th.
I have a full-time job, but I am still going to do some volunteering and shadowing. I figure I should do shadow and volunteer at least for a month before I submit the application, so that way the total number of hours will look different. I met a dentist today (who happens to be my boss's friend) and he said he would write me a recommendation once I've been there for a while...it would be nice in theory, but late in reality.
I am confused!!!
Should I atleast shadow for 3 weeks and get the application in and then continue and update the shadowing/volunteering hours (is this section updatable?)...please help!!!

why don't you just submit your application right now, let aadsas to finish everything else (GPA, printout). So, once your new dentist e-submits the LOR, aadsas can just send out everything?

That sounds like a good idea, but the OP should note that you cannot change many parts of your application once you submit. The hours you spent volunteering is one of them.

Thanks guys...I think I will gueestimate my hours and submit everything.
