and will it differ based on school type (for example, T20 / research-focused, state schools, etc)
As URMs are needed in Medicine, they'll cut some slack for you!Oh also probably important to mention: URM, African-American female, reapplicant, LM 61, 500 MCAT, sub 3.0 uGPA but 3.6 SMP at top 40 school. Applying to 23 MD (all pretty low-tier and my IS school) and 9 DO!
All HBCs (including UCLA/Drew) should be on the list, as well as all of your state schools. And IU, Rush, Tulane, Netter, GWU, Gtown, NovaMD and TCU/UNT....and more DO schools (except the one son my Bad Boy list).Thank you for the response @Goro , I hope so! Do you think I have still a shot at MD schools w/ my stats? I go to school in the Midwest which is why I applied to higher end schools.

As newer schools, TCU and NOVA might be more lenient@Goro so wait, I'm about to add some of these schools but Rush and Netter screen. Tulane is very pro "earlier apps" and Nova and TCU have very small class sizes.. Do you think I have a chance there if CMU screened me out?
