Hey guys! I am a sophomore and I was just wondering if anyone took biochemistry before the DAT's and if they found it helpful at all? I am currently taking organic chemistry and I am struggling a little bit, so I am debating if I should take Biochem my junior before (before I apply to dental school) or senior year being I feel like I wouldn't do very well in it based on my chemistry track record, and I would hate it to lower my GPA when applying. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

My personal thoughts on biochem is that it is if you go somewhere that has a challenging course...that it will be worthwhile b/c, at least for me, it helped link the memorization of all the biological pathways with all the problem solving and critical thinking that orgo requires. Helped me a bunch
