Is blazer too casual for interview?

Basically I've got an interview in the next weekend. I'm planning to wear a smart black pants, a nice, smartish top and this blazer(I love the blazer very much). But my bf thought this might be a bit too casual and I should wear something smarter, or a suit skirt etc. I'm confused what to wear now. Any thoughts?
