is BS necessary for MSTP

Hey, what do you guys think about getting a B.A. vs. a B.S. in some science? Is that looked down upon in any way? The person i'm asking this question for has done extensive amounts of research so her dedication to science is certainly not a question. Any thoughts?

I think a BA vs. BS makes no difference whatsoever. At my undergrad, they only gave BAs, regardless of the amount of science classes you took. If you've taken the classes, who cares? And if you have research, you're doing even better.
