Is Chad's Sufficient?
Started by ultimateballer07
Maybe. But I'd be super careful just using one resource. I've dug out my old 1st year chem notes and tests, and its been really great. Even just google, "first year chemistry tests" and you'll find tons of free stuff that is appropriate. Is Chad's alone enough to get it done for GC (20+)?
I've been using Bootcamp, QVault, and Destroyer too. But I've seen a few questions in these resources not covered by Chad @lilyan
Have you tested yet?

Chad is sufficient. Bootcamp, QVault, and Destroyer are plus. I have mainly studied with Chad's resources, and have gotten 22's on the Chem and OChem

The general consensus on SDN is that Chad's videos are good to review basic stuff and what ever you forgot. To score higher you definitely need to use more resources.
If you are weak on GC and Orgo and use chad alone, there is a high probability that you won't do well. Just my opinion.
good luck

I used Chad's videos along with DAT destroyer and DAT bootcamp and got a 23 in gen chem on the DAT yesterday. Chad's videos are great for learning the material, but I would strongly suggest practicing with destroyer problems even though they are harder than the real thing.
I used Destroyer also to learn. For testing my average on QVault and Bootcamp is roughly 23-24. Are ICE tables common on the real DAT?
Dont know, it depends on the test. There is no way to predict what type of question they will ask, just be on the safe side and use every tool.
I regret not using DAT Qvault and bootcamp. I used Chad's, Destroyer and DAT Achiever and got a 22. Now I forever wonder if I could have gotten a higher score.

Depends, were there chemistry questions you hadn't seen variations of before and had no idea how to solve? If not, it likely just comes down to not making a few small errors.
@Chga how was it compared to Bootcamp? And what was your BC average of you don't mind me asking?

Was the math pretty easy compared to Bootcamp/Destroyer?
Honestly, I underestimated the math. It was pretty easy questions, but by that time I was pretty tired and had to pee really bad (b/c I chugged a coke during break). Had I trained my self to take full length tests I would have been able to score a high 20 in math. There is also a very simple calculator on the DAT, which I found out about after the test.
As far as difficulty goes, I dont know much about Bootcamp but the questions were a lot easier than Destroyer (it prepares you pretty well).

The general consensus is that Math destroyer is pretty on key with the difficulty of the QR section. Only resource I used and I pretty good.
I average about 6-7 wrong. What do you think that translates to? @matardug
