Is Cliffs by itself enough for taxonomy?

my gut says yes, as it's pretty detailed.

I think it will suffice. I do like the organization in barrons ap more. as it spells out for you exactly what features domain, kingdom and phylum has.

while cliffs makes you kinda read it a bit.

I freaking knew it there are questions on the DAT where they specifically ask you for a question based on scientific names. I guarantee you it was not a model organism because you would know that already but a species name of a organism in the protista kingdom like entaeomaba histolyica or hermpharodites worms. Key for this type of question just memorize the model organisms for the protist kingdom besides that you can't memorize all the scientific names for all organisms.
