Is Destroyer QR worth doing?

I was wondering the same thing...I have done Kaplan, Topscore, and Crack math and all are good I get 18-20's. Destroyer math seems alright, but with math they can ask so many different types of questions. I guess any practice is helpful, but when is it enough to be like "okay I am ready now", NEVER.
By the time I got to Destroyer math I was tired and sick of doing math problems ha.

Your right. The wording is confusing, and the solutions are bad, on some I couldn't even figure out how they got that answer. I like it for the time and it calculates your score even though I could do it myself.
I'm pretty much the same way. I did Kaplan and Topscore but I don't know how much a difference doing Destroyer will make. I feel like I should concentrate on other subjects. But you're right, any practice helps.

YES, no reason not to.
There are like 150-200 questions which should only take you 2 hours.
They are easier than real DAT so do each question in a half a minute.

i used destroyer and kaplan, but it was months before I took my test. I found them to be much easier than the actual test, decent practice but the word problems on the test were too long and there were too many, you're just rushed for time a lot in the real test. Then again, I thought that because the destroyer and kaplan were so easy thats how the DAT would be and I only reviewed my notes and formula sheet...definitely wasnt enough, so do as much as possible. It also depends on the schools you're applying to...some schools place less emphasis on your math score than others. definitely make sure your science scores are where they need to be before you worry about qr.

thats some scary stuff right there, since I just finished doing the kaplan book and destroyer, they are not the most difficult problems in the world but I wouldn't say they are that easy either, I guess the destroyer had a lot more trig problems than I expected, and since its the only subject I had not reviewed I couldn't do any of the problems and struggle with it on cdp math, either way I thought that with the blue book, destroyer and a kaplan gre math book I had good practice, and I have improved my math skills with no calculator, which is a big deal for me but cdp math has been killing me time wise, and you say the real thing is more difficult? wow, thats scary, I guess it has less to do with your math skills and more to do with your guessing skills.

Topscore, Achiever, and Destroyer were all about the same.
I think Kaplan was on the easier side.
I was scoring 22s, 23s, 25s, 27s, and 30s.
Ended up with a 23. But by the end I was BURNT so not surprised. I think everything is a good representation of the real one.

Wow, I am screwed I take my test on wed. I feel no matter how much time I spend on QR I will more or less do the same. Its a lottery in my opinion and I guess I am taking my chances. I could spend numerous hours studying for QR and it might not even pay off. Yes there is certain things you can practice and perfect, trig, triangles, algebra, and so on, for the word problems that is a different story. You can practice on interpretation skills, but that only goes so far. I guess I will find out how "good" I am at gambling 😀. I just feel that the time I do have at this point in the game its not worth the investment. I am sure there are many students that feel the same way as I do.
Don't worry! I say if you do all the problems, and understand how it was solved you will do fine. Do them twice just to be sure. Also, there aren't many complicated probability q's on the actual test, more than likely less than 5 (high estimate!)... there was no way I was going to understand all the possible ways to calculate probability so I only learned the basic ways to calculate probablity and prayed. I just remembered to be calm, skipped anything that seemed too hard and worked the problems as quick as I could and any leftover time was left to work on the harder problems. This ensures that you give yourself a chance at getting a lot of questions right before you attempt the tougher questions. I haven't taken a single math course since 1999 and I made a QR 23 in August. Just be quick and as calm (as humanly possible!) If I can do it, you can do it! Good Luck!

It's only about 150 questions, so I would suggest you do it. It's good practice, and covers all areas pretty well. It might feel easier, but the more practice you get, the easier the real test will feel as well. I feel like there's no such thing as overkill on this section.

I went through the destroyer QR many times, Achiever, Kaplan BB, etc. and still got a 17 ... the DAT QR is all about time management and quick thinking. GL!
